KARTING ARMCHAIR CLEAR TILLET T11t

The T11 is the most popular adult shape and the one most commonly used by professional karting teams and manufacturers. As each generation grew, a new seat was needed. A large flat area at the base was created and combined with a more reclined 58° backrest angle, significantly reducing headroom. While lowering body weight provides a performance advantage, it is important to maintain an upright shoulder position to allow sufficient power to be transferred to the steering. The driver is likely to "pull to turn" if reclined too far, which is bad for handling and body stability. The T11 shape allows for the correct upper torso angle to maintain firm control and, therefore, performance. The T11 is manufactured using our own highly developed molding technique, which creates a seat with a laminate of consistent weight and thickness. It also has smooth surfaces at the front and rear, keeping the seat looking professional and clean. Unlike previous mechanized production methods, this unique system gives us the ability to fine-tune stiffness. The T11 also benefits from a specially developed high-strength resin and contains a much higher fiber-to-resin ratio than conventional laminates. This makes the seat less likely to splinter during drilling and better able to withstand impacts. Another benefit of this system is that we can aesthetically alter the seats to have a beautiful carbon, silver, or vibrant neon finish.
